Review: Rush of Heaven

Rush of Heaven is a true story of a woman healed by Jesus after eighteen years of debilitating pain and boundedness. Ema McKinley and Cheryl Ricker masterfully tell Ema’s story. The writing is superb, and the story is literally out of this world.

Ema was confined to a wheelchair 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Her posture was extremely deformed by a debilitating condition stemming from a workplace accident. She spent eighteen years, with the conditions getting steadily worse over that time.

After overturning her wheelchair, and being unable to move, she called out to Jesus for hours. Then … Jesus came, asked for her hand, and commanded her to get up.

And, she did.

The story is told wonderfully, and the writing is superb. I highly recommend this book.

I also recommend another book by the same co-author, Cheryl Ricker: Josiah’s Fire.
